IPhone 4.0 OS & IPhone 4G HD Release Date Information
When the Iphone 4.0 firmware is released will finally give users the option of multitasking. This has been a much demanded addition to the firmware and will make many users very happy.The “rate-on-delete’ feature for apps will also be removed. within OS 4.0.
Apple iPhone is one of the bestselling phones on the market having sold over 100m units. Soon they will be releasing the Apple iPhone 4G. This will be to follow up to the current 3GS model. The iPhone 4G is expected to be released some time this summer. The iPhone 4G is also being called the iPhone HD as it is expected to have HD capabilities
This will be Apples newest product following on from the critical success of the iPad. The iPad however has some issues such as a lack of Flash. This will mean many websites will be incompatible.
The announcement of the iPhone 4G will potentially revolutionize the iPhone.

I’m switching from the iphone to an android phone on Sprint, likely the new HTC Evo. Why? I’m sick of apple’s closed-ended business practices. The google business model is much more conducive to creativity and friendlier to developers. I like my iphone, but I don’t ‘love it’.
The lack of flash and the lack of battery replacement on just fatal flaws for me. Also the lesser processor power leaves a lot left to be desired…
The fact that Sprint will have WiMax operational in most cities by the end makes this a no-brainer for me.
The new iPhone sounds awesome. Android are a load of bullcrap. I love the iPhone and I say that the HTC sucks. My little brother got the hero ( HTC) and it sucked compared too my iPhone
I am still stuck with the Iphone 3G and am hesitent on getting the Iphone HD when it comes on. There are many reasons for my hesitation and one of the main reasons is that I hate autorotation. of the screen.
Not quite a year ago, I switched from HTC’s window based phones. My last 3 phones have been imported into the US and I loved them. I did the usual hacking of the ROM’s and made it the way I wanted it. I bad-mouthed iphones all day long.
Then, I bought one on a whim. Now almost a year later, I have bought 5 different iphones for members of my family. Though I agree somewhat with the “closed-minded business practices” of Apple, it’s tough to beat the ease and usefulness of the iphone. The apps and software design IMO is superior to any window’s based phone for daily use.
And now with the new 4.0 OS coming out, it will be the cat’s meow… I can’t wait.
And if that were not enough, the possibility that the new 4G may have a removable battery seals the deal.
I’ve always complained about the iphone’s battery usage, I thought it was ridiculous. By noon, my battery was dead and I was charging again. After having to replace my iphone 3Gs because I broke it, I received a new one with the 3.1.3 OS.
Funny thing now, since I can’t jailbreak it like my old one, my battery life goes from 6:30am to 7-8pm before I have to charge it. At first I thought it was the fact that the new phone comes with a new battery but I had recently replaced my battery in my old iphone.
Apparently, jailbreaking uses more battery than I thought.
An interesting sidenote, when my iphone broke and I had to wait till Monday to replace it, I fired up my trusty HTC and what a disappointment, it was so awkward and non-refined, I ended up using my iphone though I only had a speaker phone to work.
Guess I do “love” my iphone.
i heard that they are making a smaller one. yuck!!!!
why not just make it a little wider maybe 15mm and also extend the screen to nearer the ends to keep the correct ratio. the addition of a second speaker would be expected from what is to some the best portable music device. after all it is still an ipod! and what about the things that safari cant do, flash isn’t it. why is it that ebay wont let you choose to use the full version or ebay mobile.
plus why does the ipad not include the ability to make calls using even a blutooth headset, or a standard set of iphone headphones. i expect that the ipad has a mic and speakers. well duh. stop treating the consumer like muppets. i would have an ipad if it did calls.

I got my first iPhone almost 3 years ago when it came out, at first I was bit hesitant to get one because of my past experience with HTC (Windows) touch screen issues.
Then I saw it with one of my friends and I was in love with it, next morning I went out and bought it, I live in Saudi Arabia so I had to get a hactivated unlocked iPhone with 1.1.2 Firmware.
It had installer on it so I could install apps directly on to the phone I loved that concept, when 3G came out I got that one too and gave my old 2G to my wife at first she said it’ll be too complicated for her, now she can’t live without her iPhone.
Last July I got the factory unlocked iPhone 3GS and every model has just amazed me.
Just for a difference Bing App on Windows Phone looks worse than Bing on iPhone.
Month back I got myself an Android based phone, its a low end phone from Samsung so I’m not going to compare the sound quality etc.
First of all the phone gave me troubles of my life, it wouldn’t sync with my PC (still doesn’t and there is no solution by Samsung), it crashed 2 times, it closes all apps when it feels something is wrong etc. etc.
I do like the fact that it could multi task with different apps put in sleep in the background and I do like the fact it has widgets, but overall Android is FAIL!
Still loving my iPhone 3Gs can’t wait till June to get my multitasking and till September to get my iPhone 4G or HD or whatever Apple plans to call it.
